Velvet and her 3 babies (Boca, Angie & Mandu) were abandoned in a carrier when her babies were just a few days old.  Velvet was a first time (& very young) mom.  She has been nothing short of amazing, first trusting complete strangers to handle not only her, but also her babies, in order to get them set up in a foster home. She never so much as hissed.

Her mothering skills were also great, taking such care with feedings & hanging out with her kids, that they didn't start venturing out of their crate till about 4 weeks of age. Velvet is a beauty, with shiny black fur & big golden eyes that look up with trust & affection.  Since she is still quite young herself, she is quite playful as well as sweet. Her mothering responsibilities are finally done, and now Velvet is longing for someone to shower her with the affection she deserves in her forever home and allow her to finally enjoy being a young & wonderful kitty.
