What a big LOVE this handsome boy is! He''s a happy dog that has the energy of a playful puppy but can also be a nice calm companion. Ben is 2 1/2 years old and past the hyper puppy stage. He's perfect for the family that wants a young dog without the craziness of the puppy years.  Right at 100 lbs, he still thinks he is a LAP DOG!! He loves to take long walks, hang out with you and watch TV and ,of course, he enjoys a good belly rub!! Benjamin is very excited about having a family that spends plenty of quality time with their 4 - legged family members.

 

Ben enjoys the company of most other dogs and would be happy to have another dog to play with and spend time with when his family isn't home. He would also be fine as an only dog if family members are home a lot. He is not looking for a home where he would just sit home by himself all day (but then, what dog is?)  While he is good with other dogs -  the temptation to chase a cat is just too much for him! No cats please!!
