Beauty is an extremely UNIQUE one-of-a-kind (as far as we can tell) kitten.  She was given her name when she was tiny out of kindness because she was so unusual looking - not because she was beautiful. Her mom and all her litter mates were pretty but ordinary looking and Beauty stood out from the start.   She was so different that several vets were very interested in checking her out.  They examined her, took X-rays and ran various tests and found her to be quite healthy - just very special!! And as far as her name goes, she has turned out to be quite beautiful and very exotic looking!  And so  -  the name suits her!

Beauty is a normal kitten in the way that she acts.  She is friendly, playful and very affectionate. She gets along great with other cats and loves cat-friendly dogs. She enjoys spending lots of time with her favorite people and getting plenty of cuddle-time.

Beauty's differences don't affect her everyday life. She has never had a mouth full of teeth - in fact, she has only had 3. Two of those were kitten teeth and have fallen out. Right now, she has 1 tiny little tooth on top that you can feel but not see. It is unlikely she will ever have many, if any, more. But lack of teeth does not affect her appetite or her ability to eat. She loves dry kitten food and that is what she regularly eats. She is on the smaller side but not abnormally so and is a good healthy weight for her size and age. When Beauty was really little, her hair was almost non-existent. Now, though still a little thin in a couple of places, it is mostly thick and beautiful and silky and shiny! Her coat is a little different from most cats in that it gets a little oily (kind of like a Yorkie if you've ever had one) and she needs to be bathed a little about once a month or so but that can be done easily with Kitty Bath Wipes or Shampoo that does not need to be rinsed out.

Beauty's uniqueness makes her different and special only is good ways. The family that adopts her will have a FUN, PLAYFUL, LOVING companion for years to come that is different from anyone else's. Beauty is a lap-kitty that has lots of love to share and she's hoping for a forever family to spend a long happy life with.
