Finch was adopted as a kitten by what he thought would be a loving forever family, that was not to be. He was returned six months later because he was acting like the curious playful kitten that he is. It's not easy to find a foster home in the 3 hours the family gave us for the return or else...., but luckily an Adopt A Stray volunteer stepped up and Finch is safe and sound. Finch is a gorgeous wide-striped classic tabby (his stripes form a circle). He got his name because him and his siblings were found in some bushes crying in a way that sounded like birds. They were only 3 weeks old and were in rough shape, hungry, cold, full of fleas and covered in cuts and scrapes. Crying their little hearts out paid off for Finch and his siblings, Sparrow, Blue Jay, Robin and Starling. They were bottle raised and all grew up to be fun loving, affectionate confident cats. The foster home that cared for him until he could move into the Adoption Center at Petsmart reports the following: When Finch first came to my house, he was naturally a little scared of his new surroundings, but literally within a couple of hours he was waiting at the door for me wanting attention every time I walked in. He would roll over at my feet and meow to let me know he wanted a belly rub. He even slept next to me on the bed the very first night!
