Her story is very unusual, she was found in a feral colony where all the cats had been sterilized. She was nursing on a cat whose ear was notched indicating she had been spayed. Winny and the mom cat were taken to the vet. Mom cat had a spay scar and the vet thought she was spayed, but she was full of milk. So, they attempted to do the surgery and found out that the mom cat HAD BEEN previously spayed. Cats are wonderful, this kitty knew that Winny needed a mom. How wonderful!
UPDATE: Winnie was adopted and abruptly returned. Her adopted mom stated that she let Winnie loose and had not touched her since she adopted her. Poor Winnie is scared, terrified, afraid of people and needs a tremendous amount of TLC. If you have lots of love and time come see Winny, give her the chance she deserves. Winny can be seen at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart where she currently lives.
