Zola was a frightened,scrawny, starving kitten when an Adopt A Stray volunteer discovered her left amongst a colony of feral cats. You could see all of her ribs under her thin, short black and white coat and she looked much younger then her age because she was so skinny. During feral feeding she fought hard to get food but the resident cats chased her from it. Clearly she was not one of their own. Tiny Zola proved however to be people friendly and came right up to the volunteer who reached out protectively for her. Zola immediately began to purr and snuggle up right into the volunteers arms. Zola was a charmer. She has since grown into her body and is now a normal weight kitty waiting for her forever home. She loves to eat, cuddle, and play. Zola recently went to Sanibel with her foster mommy (see video). She travels well in the car while in her carrier, and she adjusted to her new surroundings quickly. Zola enjoyed sitting on her foster mommy during movie time (due to tropical storm Debby lots of videos were rented and cuddle time with Zola was a must). She gets along well with dogs, she has not been introduced at length to other cats however she seems fine when she has seen them. This little girl had a rough start in life, but now she healthy and is waiting for a family to fall in love with her and adopt her. You can meet this wonderful kitty at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart which is her temporary home.
