A kind man saw a kitten run across a busy road. He stopped and the kitten ran under his car (an Acura). He looked for the kitten, could not find it and finally assumed it had run off when he wasn't looking so he drove home. The following morning as the man was getting ready for work he heard a kitten crying outside. It sounded like the kitten was in his car but he could not find it anywhere. He tried putting food down but even that didn't work. He finally decided to drive 5 blocks to a mechanic. They put the car on a lift and still couldn't find the crying kitten. Eventually they decided to remove the tires and there was a little black kitten on top of the gas tank, under the trunk. He brought the kitten to an Adopt A Stray volunteer, This little girl was about 6 weeks old, scared and hungry. Her name is now "Acura". She was rescued in July on Friday the 13th ...what a lucky day for this little girl. Update: Acura had been adopted by a couple who loves black cats. So did their dog who was ultra cat friendly. The problem was, their dog was way too friendly. And all he wanted to do was run and jump after Acura. Acura is fine with dogs but not this rambunctious pup that wanted her as his play toy. So we found this couple a cat that equally loved dogs And now want to give Acura the chance to find the right home for her.
Acura is sweet, playful, loving and ready for the home that is perfect for her.
