Bombay / Burmese / Mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Baby : : Medium
We will probably never solve the mystery of how or why beautiful, friendly, affectionate, purr-when-you-touch-them cats or kittens end up in horrible places - alone, lost and starving - both literally and for love. It is less surprising and more common to find them lost & starving and impossible to get close to. But in Napoleon's case, it was almost like he had a sense of where to wait to be rescued and showed how grateful he was from the start by gifting his rescuer with enthusiastic purrs and headbutts - just in case she had any doubts as to what he needed. Napoleon is stunning - in every way. He had a beautiful black coat (his pictures don't do him justice) but it is so much more than that. As soon as you meet him, you get a sense of his wonderful spirit and get drawn in to him. And when he turns those golden eyes on you, you feel like he is looking into your soul. There are no "ordinary" cats and Napoleon is just more proof of that. He has the same fun qualities that lots of other cats have - he is playful, confident, agile, lovable and entertaining - but you know as soon as you meet him that you have made the acquaintance of a very special little boy! We believe that Napoleon was probably born around the 1st of August and he is the perfect age to start the rest of his life as the new member of a loving family. We hope that 15 years from now his family will be telling their friends about the special day they adopted him and about all the wonderful memories they have because of loving him. Information about Bombays: The Bombay is a highly social breed that loves to be in the company of others. Bombays tend to be attached to their families and crave attention, and for this reason this breed is highly suitable for children. Bombay cats are not independent. They seek attention from their owners and people around them often and dislike being left alone for extended periods of time. Although they like to be around people generally, Bombay Cats also tend to have a certain person (usually a female) whom they pay special attention to in their lives. Overall, the Bombay breed is intelligent, playful, and attention-seeking. They tend to get along well with other cats, as they have an established Pecking_order" in the household. They have a very distinctive purr and love to snuggle.
