May 2014  *  Elvira has been back for a few weeks now and she is doing great!! She's back in the Adoption Center at the Aventura PetSmart and has adjusted  quickly  -  getting along with everyone. It's true that she is a little Princess and has a little Beauty Queen air about her but that's part of what we all love about her! She's active, playful & LOVABLE and enjoys being carried around by the AAS volunteers. Come on by the PetSmart in Aventura and spend a little time with Elvira and you will understand why we are all smitten with her. She receives visitors Monday thru Friday from 9am-noon and 6-9pm and all day on Sat & Sun. If you would like to meet her at a different time, call 954-966-8382. A volunteer will return your call to make arrangements.

 

April 2014:  Gorgeous Elvira is young (1 yr old) and Looking for a Good Time!! She is playful and friendly with people and some other cats. She was returned recently after exactly 2 months in her new home where the original kitty was very timid and not too happy for a new family member that has a strong, confident personality. While her new family loved Elvira, she totally overwhelmed their submissive cat so it turned out to not be a good match. It is important and possible for everyone to be happy when the right mix is found. The family sadly decidedly that their first cat will be happiest alone and we will find Elvira a new loving family. MAYBE even with her beautiful Maine Coon tortie sister, Splash. They will be getting reintroduced this week at the PetSmart in Aventura. Elvira is Friendly! Playful! Gorgeous! a Lap-Kitty! Affectionate! FUN!FUN!FUN! and Loving!    Did we say Gorgeous!!

Feel free to come on over to the Aventura PetSmart any morning or evening to meet Elvira or her sister, Splash. You can meet them at other times by appointment with an approved application.
