Zelda was rescued from a high-kill shelter, and is now waiting for someone to love and worship her forever. She was named for the Princess Zelda from the video games, not just for the Triforce insignia on her face, but for the wise and kind aura she projects when at rest. Zelda has a beautiful black coat and bewitching golden eyes. She may even be able to hypnotize people into doing whatever she wants.

At times, Zelda is quite the princess, insisting on being petted and cooed over, especially when you first come home. Her purr will let you know how happy you’ve made her. At other times, she is very down-to-earth. She loves to cuddle and is always ready to play. She is grown, but just barely: she is quite kittenish as she rolls around with a bit of ribbon or “attacks” a feathered ball. Zelda is an intensely curious cat who investigates every nook and cranny of her environment, then likes to curl up in some small space. She LOVES boxes.

Zelda readily uses a scratching post instead curtains or furniture. Zelda is great with both children and adults – she can even tolerate dogs with no problems.
She is a sweet, content kitty who will adapt well to almost any home.
