The night that Tesla and her litter mates were left at an abandoned trailer park was the beginning of her journey to a home full of LOVE, soft beds, fuzzy toy mice, warm laps and plenty of good food to eat. She is ready to share sweet PURRS, head-butts and unconditional companionship with her own special person or family. She's looking forward to being treated like a little princess! Yes - Tesla is gorgeous - but her personality is what is so special! She's friendly & affectionate but not pushy or needy and doesn't have a shy hair on her body. She's good with other cats but we don't know about dogs yet. Tesla is very laid-back and, so far, has been instantly comfortable with everyone she meets. It was obvious in the beginning that she didn't have any idea what a toy was but after being offered a variety - from rattling, dinging balls to furry, catnip filled mice - she has caught on quickly loves to chase little balls around. The only problem is that her little paws are so soft that when she tries to stop - she slides! (on tile) Tesla is definitely a lap kitty or perfectly happy to be cradled on her back in your arms when you need some cuddle time. 

Tesla will be staying in the Adoption Center at the Aventura PetSmart for now. You can meet her in the morning (9-noon) or evening (6:30-8:00) Monday - Friday. Saturdays & Sundays she will be happy to entertain you from 10am - 4pm. If you think you are really interested in making Tesla part of your family, we suggest you go ahead and fill out the application to adopt her. A family saw her brother on our website and came into meet him before they applied but he was already being adopted by another family that had  filled out the application on-line. (There's never any obligation in filling out an application. If it is approved ahead of time, it just lets you know that IF you love a kitty, you will probably get to go home with it the same day you come in to meet it.) They thought Tesla was beautiful but they only wanted a boy. (And BOY did they miss out on 2 very special kitties! Royce - because they waited to fill out the application - and Tesla - just because she is a girl!)
