When pretty  little Sanibel moved from her foster home into the Adoption Center at the Pembroke Pines PetSmart we thought it would be a difficult transition for her.  However, she's handling the change much more easily than we expected. Instead of hiding in her bed, she was checking everything out and ready to greet any guests that come into the room. She's a petite little girl - full grown at just 7 1/2 lbs so she's just the right size for your lap and when she looks at you with those lime green eyes your heart will melt.

Once Sanibel adjusts to your home  she will be  playful and very  friendly. She loves attention. She enjoys the company of other cats but would be ok as an only kitty as long as she was included in family life and got plenty of attention. She hasn't had the pleasure of life with a dog but she should be just fine as long as the dog is cat-friendly and her new family keeps them separate at first and introduces them slowly. Most of all she's just ready for someone to love that wants to make her part of their family
