Flax is quite the mischievous and curious kitty and always the first to checkout anything new!! She loves looking out the window and playing with her litter mates. One of her favorite games is, “get the kibble”. This is a game her foster mom invented but Flax loves it!! The food kibbles are tossed around the room and the kitties run, jump and leap over one another (or anything else in their way) to get the kibble first and it eat! She might be timid with people but not with other cats. Flax loves other cats and would love to be adopted with her sister Zoe and stepbrother Sharpie. Although, I’m sure she’d make fast friends with new kitties too!

Unlike her sister Zoe, Flax absolutely loves having her picture taken and will wait patiently until you get the perfect shot! Flax is not a lap cat but does enjoy being held for short periods of time and will purr to show her trust and appreciation.

Flax almost didn’t survive as she was unknowingly left alone when her mom was taken in to get fixed. Her and her litter mates had had to fend for themselves for a few days and had to hide from a big hawk in the area that preys on small animals. They were very scared and lonely but a nice couple rescued them. Now she’s waiting for her forever home! Could it be you!

You can meet this wonderful kitty most Saturdays at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart between 12 and 6 pm.
