Please contact info@adoptastray.ws for more information about this pet. Zazu was found by one of our volunteers. He was hungry, scared, and worst of all was dragging one of his back legs. The volunteer could not leave this kitten, and so she was able to trap him. Zazu was taken to the vet and the X-ray showed nothing was broken. An appointment was made with a neurologist and he determined the kitten did not have any neurological issues. It appears Zazu was probably bitten, because an abscess appeared after a week. He was put on Clavamox (an antibiotic), and he started using his leg. Zazu is perfectly fine now and ready for a home. He does need a special home, because he is a little shy. When he is being petted he purrs and purrs, however he does not initiate attention. He is wonderful with other cats. This beautiful boy needs a home that understands him and will be patient. You can meet this wonderful kitty at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart where he currently lives. You can fill out an application for Zazu at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart or go to www.adoptastray.ws/applications/ to fill out an application online or print and fax one to (954) 965-0406.
