Palmer showed up on the doorstep of a kind person who contacted Adopt A Stray for help. The story from the neighborhood was that the owners moved away 6 months prior and left him behind. He was a non-sterilized young adult so obviously first on the schedule was neutering. His fur belied his thinness but his blood work indicated some deficiencies from starvation. After a few weeks of high nutrient meals and a vitamin regimen he has gained weight and is now fully recovered and ready for adoption. His foster home has 5 other adult cats and 2 kittens. He gets along with everyone - actually the truth is, it's not so much that he likes the other cats he just doesn't care that they are there. Although, he loves having his big jowls scratched and throws his head back so you have better access, his favorite thing is to just lie around and watch the world go by or take a nap. He especially loves doing this in front of a window. You'll know when he's hungry cause he'll hang out close to you, and if he wants to go out on the screened in porch, he'll just lie in front of the door. He definitely has the typical Persian personality; extremely laid back and easy going. You can meet this wonderful kitty by appointment with an approved application.
