Macy was rescued from a high kill shelter when she was only 10 weeks old. She is a magnificent long haired, possibly Maine Coon mix. She has that Maine Coon personality, she is not a crazy kitten, but loves to play and purr.

Start flying with those feathers and Macy looks like she is watching a tennis tournament. If her bigger and older foster roommates allow her to, she will fly to play the game as well.

Maine Coons were given the nickname "gentle giants". Although Macy is small she fits that description as well as having the above average intelligence the breed is known for. They are also know for their relaxed attitude and the ability to get along with other animals and children.

You can meet this wonderful kitty most Saturdays at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart between 12 and 6 pm.
