Jubilee, white and black female border collie mix, born April 2016. Look up pictures of a short hair border collie and you will see Jubilee.

When Adopt A Stray first got Jubilee, she acted like a leash and a collar were her enemies. It was obvious that wherever she came from, she was not use to being walked. In a short time Jubilee is great on the leash and loves to go on walks. She's very smart, very, very lovable and friendly, too.

Border collie enthusiasts will tell you that the border collie is recognized as the world's smartest dog breed. They consider the dog smart because of its level of trainability. So if you have a very smart dog, you need to provide it with a lot of stimulation and exercise. You do not want to have a bored border collie.

Jubilee does need to learn some more basic training, but she is so eager to learn and catches on so quickly.

Jubilee would be happiest in a home that would include her in fun outdoor activities. She may not know how to play frisbee now, but she would love to learn.  She loves new challenges and hinted at agility courses as a fun outing.

You can meet this wonderful dog by appointment, please fill out an application. Some Saturdays she will be at the Pembroke Pines PetSmart.  Please email or call prior to coming out and meeting her so that we can make sure she is there.
