Birthdate-February 2010 Abigail AKA Abby Twinkle Toes turned up about a year ago around an established colony but it was evident from the beginning she was not a feral cat. Everyday she would cautiously watch from afar while everyone else got food and when she felt it was safe, she would go and eat. It was obvious she was terrified being outside and was not in her comfort zone. Little by little she's adjusted to her surroundings and let the colony caregiver pet her. In fact, she loves having her chin rubbed. You may be wondering why she’s called twinkle toes. If you recall The Flintstones this was the sound effect made at the bowling alley before Fred threw the ball. It was his legs moving very quickly as he walked down the lane. This is how Abby looks when she comes running to get her food. She's a small kitty with short legs and is thought to be part munchkin. Recently Abby didn't show up for a couple of nights and when she did she was severely injured. She had two deep puncture wounds and a large piece of her flesh was torn away from her body. It appears she was attacked by a large dog. She's been at the vet for a couple of weeks receiving care for her injuries. Although, understandably she's been a little scared with all the other patients, boarders and activities she allows the staff to do anything to her. She is a sweet loving kitty that has been fully vetted and is healthy and ready to find her forever, loving home.
