Zuma may seem like a special needs kitty, but she is a regular kitten... with regular needs. Which means she needs love, affection, other kitties to play with and her forever home.
Zuma came to Adopt A Stray after 2 of her toes had been amputated from an unknown accident. The surgery was not successful and she was not able to use her back leg. She would need her back leg amputated. Her owners did not want or have the $2000 to spend and they made a decision to euthanize her. One of the employees at the vet office was an AAS volunteer and asked the owners to give her up to Adopt A Stray. With lots of love and lots of money Zuma is now a thriving kitten. She is so much happier and playful since the surgery. She is very sweet and hugs up next to you when you hold her. She will be spayed shortly and ready for her forever home. Zuma has NO special needs or will need any special care. JUST SPECIAL LOVE.
