Hello Friends

I'm Essex, a sweet and velvety black bundle of love with just a tiny patch of white on my neck - which makes me a "locket kitty"!

You know, it's really not easy being a black kitten so I'm hoping that my lack of stripes or a bright color won't stop you from adopting me.  I definitely make up for it with lots of personality and playfulness.

I can usually be found running around with my other kitten friends, chasing them through the cat tunnel or up the cat tree.  I love a good workout with my friends and toys but I do break away for hug time.

I never get tired of getting pet and loved and crawling into your lap for a nap are favorites of mine.
