Chai and his sister Duchess were rescued with their mom and 2 brothers from a high kill shelter when only a few weeks old. Chai, the smallest of the litter and his sister Duchess were just not getting enough to eat from mom. So while they were no longer in the shelter they were not growing as quickly as their brothers were. Small but mighty of heart and spirit, Chai is just all love and fluffy softness. He eats and eats, like the growing boy that he is, in fact, he purrs while he is eating, he is such a happy one! He loves to play and has no problem joining in the bunch and getting along with other kitties. He holds his own too with the older ones. He loves to see what is going on with the kitty cat gang but also checks in with you occasionally to makes sure all is good, then runs off to play again.
