At 6 AM an AAS Volunteer heard a cat crying and awoke thinking it was one of her own. On the porch was what appeared to be a tiny fluffy dark kitten…it was dark. Fifteen hours later two scared kittens (Belgium and Rome) were caught. Update: Belgium is doing great! He has a very easy going personality, things don't upset him and he just "goes with the flow". Belgium loves toys, especially balls and can play by himself for hours at a time. He seems to have some maine coon in him as he has the personality, face and tail. He body fur is between short and medium length. He used to be solid black, but now is smoke colored. His gorgeous silky black fur has a white undercoat. He is a beauty, inside and out. Most cats don’t like to be held, but Belgium has no problem being held and loved, he also loves his belly rubbed. Belgium would do great with other animals, kids and people too. You can meet this wonderful kitty most Saturdays at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart between 12 and 6pm.
