At 6 AM an AAS Volunteer heard a cat crying and awoke thinking it was one of her own. On the porch was what appeared to be a tiny fluffy dark kitten…it was dark. The kitten ran but cried and cried looking for his mother, returning the cry from the volunteer. After four hours she trapped the kitten in a humane trap. It didn’t take long to figure out there was a second kitten crying, but it did take long to trap that one. Fifteen hours later both kittens were back together. So we have Belgium and Rome, cute and adorable, scared and uncertain. Both kittens have come along nicely, but would do much better in their own home. Belgium is black with reddish streaks, has fluffy medium length fur and loves to eat and play. Update: You can meet this wonderful kitty most Saturdays at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart between 12 and 6pm.
