Zenith and his two siblings were only two weeks old when Tropical Storm Isaac hit Florida.  His mom found a safe place for them and started moving them one by one.  Zenith was the last one to be moved and just as his mom grabbed him by the neck to take him to safety, a large tree branch fell, hit his mom and she ran off never to return.  Luckily, someone saw this happen and waited a little bit to see if his mom would come back for him but she never did and with the rain and winds increasing, there was no way Zenith could survive and so his angel ran out to get him.

Adopt A Stray was contacted and Zenith was placed into a foster home.  Zenith was so small and it seems that when the tree branch fell it had also slightly hit him on his back legs and he had a hard time walking for a while.  He had been through so much in his short life that there were days that I just didn’t know if he would make it.  And then I started to see little improvements each day and I knew that Zenith was going to make it.  He has a great fighting spirit and now he is healthy and ready for his new family - he is a survivor.

Zenith is now 10 weeks old (10-20-12) and he is the most loving and sweetest little boy.  He is full of life and is just a playful ball of energy.  He is an outgoing adventurer and very curious about everything around him.  He loves playing with his toys and finding little things that he can carry around in his mouth.  He’s very generous with kitty kisses and always happy to lounge in your lap.

Zenith is just an incredible boy and the only thing he lacks is a loving family of his own.
