Fantasia is a very special kitten that is hoping for a home that considers the pets to be members of the family. She is completely blind and gets along just fine but her life revolves around touch and sound so she thrives on interaction with people and other friendly animals. She loves to cuddle, be talked to and brushed. She enjoys playing with toys that she can hear. She plays with other friendly cats but is frightened if they hiss or swat at her. She is startled by aggressive behavior because she doesn't see it coming and doesn't know to avoid an unfriendly cat. Fantasia moves around her foster home with very few problems. She does best in a new place if she has the chance to learn a small area at a time and if things don't get moved around a lot. She climbs up and down cat trees, chases toys around and alway uses the litter box.

Fantasia was born blind and doesn't know life any other way. She has been seen by an eye specialist that says that her eyes never developed. She doesn't know that other cats see or that you & I see. She is not really a special needs kitty. She just needs the right home for her - just like any other cat!! The right home for Fantasia would be one that is on the calmer side with people that love to spend time with their 4-legged family members. If there are other animals, they need to be friendly and the type that accept new pets into the home without a lot of drama. Someone who talks to their cats a lot would be great!!   You can meet Fantasia (by appointment only) at Petsmart in Aventura.
