Dakota is a spectacular kitty in many ways. She is an active kitty that is gorgeous (Maine coone mix), playful and loves people. Dakota is really special, her sweet disposition and ability to get along with others is amazing. Her foster mom describes her as having dog-like characteristics, following her around the house and her desire to be part of the family. If you ignore her she will gently "paw" you until you pet her again. If you are looking for a cat that doesn't need or want attention...well Dakota is not for you. Dakota gets along great with other cats and dogs as well. She is all around a special kitty.

We can't be sure of what happened to Dakota and how she ended up on the streets. What we do know is that she was cared for medically and one of her eyes removed. She has been completely vetted and she is able to see perfectly. What we know is that she is an amazing cat!
