While on duty, a local police office/animal advocate came across an abandon car. As she was checking out the vehicle, she noticed movement in the back seat. She flashed her light and was surprised to see two beautiful black kittens laying on the floor board!! She immediately went back to her car, retrieved some cat food and opened the car door. The kittens came right up to her, purring and rubbing all over her! They were more interested in her attention than the food!

As it turned out, this sister and brother twin team, Katie and Oakley are beautiful Bombay or Bombay mixes!!! No wonder they wanted love before food. Fast forward one month, Katie and Oakley are ready for adoption! They are true Bombay's in every sense! Playful, affectionate, crave attention and beyond sweet! They will each individually take a toy and play with it, throwing it up in the air and constantly turning around to see what the other one is doing. It really is the cutest thing!

Bombay cats are known for their extreme good natured personalities and loyalty. Bombay cats crave human attention.  They have loud purrs and very distinct “voices.”  Both kittens "chirp" to communicate.  Some Bombay cats can be quite talkative and meow a lot at times like when you get home from work or wake up in the morning, for example. Bombay’s get along well with dogs because of the natural “pecking order” they have.

Bombay’s love attention as evident in Katie and Oakley's amazing interaction with people.  They enjoy being held and being pet.  Some Bombay’s even take on dog-like characteristics like playing fetch, for example.  They enjoy being around people, but tend to select a certain someone to pay special close attention to.  Bombay’s are also great with young children. We are looking for a home where they can stay together!
