She was born sometime the second half of April and found with her littermates in the wheel-well of a truck, they DID NOT want to come out and were not fond of people at first. Raisin's eyes were nearly matted shut, she was full of worms and had absolutely no desire to seek comfort from humans. For the first several days, she hissed and spit at anyone who tried to come near her. Of course, whether she liked it or not, all her medical needs were met and she gradually became the healthy happy sweet cutie pie she is today. Our girl Raisin is truly a one of kind, Heinz 57 mix. Much of her coat is that of a tortoisehell, but she has the white chest and paws typically found on a tuxedo kitty, and finally one of her legs is ALL orange tabby. She is definitely as unique as they come. Athough, she is still more interested in playing than petting, she is happy to curl up in your lap, get some love and show her appreciation with a big purr. It's hard not to melt when she looks at you with those big brownish eyes, tilting her head ever so slightly like she really wants to know what you are thinking. You can meet this wonderful kitty at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart where she is currently staying.
