Please contact info@adoptastray.ws for more information about this pet. Rainbow had a rough start. Born the second half of April, he and his littermates were found in the wheel-well of a truck, they DID NOT want to come out and were not fond of people at first. Although full of worms he was probably the healthiest of the litter (typical of black cat genetics – fending off some of the common feline health issues). The first few days he had no desire to seek comfort from humans and hissed when you approached. However, in a few more days he became very attached to his foster mom and loved the attention he was getting. He showed his appreciation with big purrs and head butts. He is now in a different foster home and we know that once he connects with you, he wants nothing more than to play gently in your lap until he falls asleep. Sometimes he just sits on your lap and looks you directly in the eyes, it's as if he is trying telling you how thankful he is for his rescue. His second foster home says he is a feline alarm clock that wakes you up with sandpaper kisses in the morning. What a great way to wake up! He also loves to play and wrestle with his litter mates and is especially found of toys on strings that look like small bugs. You can meet this wonderful kitty at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart where he is currently staying. He is friendly and loves people, especially those that play with him. You can fill out an application for Rainbow at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart or go to www.adoptastray.ws/applications/ to fill out an application online or print and fax one to (954) 965-0406.
