When Rigby and his brothers, Levon & Axl, were first rescued they were shy about being handled but as soon as you picked one of them up they started purring uncontrollably. And if you sat and pulled them all into your lap, the room was filled with a loud hum from all 3 of them purring. It isn't uncommon for newly rescued kittens to be afraid of you but to feel safest when they are cuddled close in your arms. That was the case from the start with these boys. Never a hiss or a cry or a growl. Even though initially they were very timid, the only sound they made was when they PURRED. That is usually a very good indication about the future and true with these kittens. Rigby is adorable! He is friendly with people and other cats, affectionate with people he knows well and crazy playful -  especially with other kittens! He is sweet & gentle and will be a wonderful companion for his lucky new family!

Rigby turned 3 months old right around Aug. 1.  He is the perfect age to start life with a family with children that are old enough to understand how to treat their new feline family member. He is a lap kitty that enjoys being carried around and cuddled. You can meet Rigby at the Aventura PetSmart on Saturdays & Sundays from 10am-4pm or during the week with a pre-approved application.
